To the great desire for more space within education for the development of people, we saw the answer in Bildung: actively, consciously and ethically relating to your inner self, the other and the world. That is why we develop programs and offer training, coaching and advice around personal-professional development and social responsibility.

Is an ideal vision.
We are not an existing institution, and we have no fixed location. The university of the 21st century is an invitation and a creative space to build together with The Bildung Network the ideal vision of education, learning, and development.
Is not about grades.
We assess the development of self-awareness, the power to connect, creativity, and discipline to function well as a person and professional, leading a meaningful life.
You don't just walk in.
We are only accessible to people who have the desire to connect with themselves and with others while taking on social responsibility.
Only makes the teacher more important.
We see the teacher as an inspirer and guide, providing you with the tools and confidence to help you arrive at the right judgments, decisions, and actions in an abundance of information.
Provides education that touches you.
We offer inspiration and create synergy between the painful and liberating process of personal and social transformation.
Is for mbo, hbo and wo.
We look beyond educational levels and bring together diverse life experiences. Personal development enhanced with both theoretical and practical knowledge is essential to becoming the best version of yourself.
Is for every phase in your life.
We view personal development as a crucial human need, even during and after your professional life. Slowing down in the rat race creates space for new awareness, skills, and growth prospects.
Has no fixed location.
We see opportunities to develop yourself everywhere, as long as you train an open and attentive attitude. Our network is everywhere, from cultural venues to b-corps and from educational institutions to the public sector.

We provide space for underrepresented perspectives and engage in difficult conversations to explore what we want to preserve or innovate in our future.

Bildung is actively, consciously, and ethically relating to your inner self, others, and the world. It represents the ideal that people develop themselves as broadly and fully as possible and take on social responsibility.

Dutch higher education programs can distinguish themselves based on aspects related to their orientation, specific objectives, and character by applying for the special feature Bildung.

De Bildung Academie has been classified by the tax authorities as an Institution for General Benefit (ANBI). This means that we are at least 90% committed to the common good.
