Renee Berends

Renee has a background in (primary) education and enjoyed several years in front of the classroom as both a group teacher and music teacher. She now works as an NT2 teacher with adults, helping non-Dutch speakers learn the Dutch language.

Renee believes it is important to bring people closer to themselves and others. She believes that learning is about developing the whole human being, where there is room for different forms of expression and discovering your place in the world. For her it is about discovering what drives you, where your strengths lie and how you can be truly connected with the people and the world around you.  

At The Bildung Academy, Renee works as a trainer and coach. She coaches groups and individuals in their personal and social development.  

Among other things, Renee is involved in the programs Mindmasters040 and StadsMakers Eindhoven, in which youth and young adults are challenged through experiential learning, dialogue and creative forms of work to get to know themselves better and shape their role in society more consciously.
