Internship: Content Creator

Do you enjoy working with video, writing, and social media? Do you want to improve your skills and work on something that makes a difference? At De Bildung Academie, you’ll help bring our programs and the stories of young people to life.

We create educational materials and programs focused on personal development, human connection, and social challenges. You’ll help turn these into stories with beautiful, powerful content.

About De Bildung Academie

We work on a wide range of programs and projects for government ministries, municipalities, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations. These include programs such as the Bildung Climate School, Mindmasters040, Ambassadors of Amsterdam, and various other learning and development initiatives.

To further raise the profile of our growing organization and programs, we are looking for a content creation intern.

What are you going to do?

You spend about 75% of your time creating content. You:

• Film videos of our programs and activities.
• Writes short, engaging texts.
• Conceives and creates recognizable formats for social media.
• Ensures the content is formatted nicely and publishes it.
• Keep track of your work and schedule in Trello.
• Gather feedback and incorporate it into your work.
• We'll determine your start date and the duration of your internship in consultation with you, based on your availability and the requirements of your program.

You use AI wisely—to refine ideas and work faster, while preserving our own voice and the soul of the story.

Who do you learn from?

You’ll work under the guidance of a senior marketer who will provide direction, structure, and feedback. You’ll learn how to turn an idea into quality content, how to reach a target audience, and how to continually improve your work. There’s plenty of room to try things out on your own.

Who are we looking for?

You’re enrolled in a vocational, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree program, for example in media, marketing, communications, or a related field. You live and breathe social media, spend a lot of time working with content, write clearly, and have a strong eye for visuals. You take initiative, are open to feedback, and are eager to learn. You don’t have to know everything just yet.

• An internship of at least 24 hours per week, with a gross internship stipend of 800 euros for full-time work.

Our office is located across from Amsterdam Central Station and is easily accessible. Do you live outside Amsterdam? No problem. We’ll work with you to arrange your office days and hours.
