24–32 hours per week | Start date: late 2026 or early 2027 (to be determined)

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced project manager and consultant in the fields of citizenship, personal development, and addressing social challenges? Do you have a keen eye for coordinating programs and building partnerships? If so, we invite you to join our team.

About De Bildung Academie

At De Bildung Academie, we are working to create a learning environment where personal and professional development go hand in hand with social engagement. We focus on young people and (young) professionals and develop programs, training courses, and consulting projects at the intersection of education, citizenship, and personal development. Through our network of schools, (semi-)governmental institutions, civil society organizations, and businesses, we establish partnerships that are innovative and unifying.

In our ideal world, as many people as possible are in touch with themselves and connected to others. As a collective, they tackle personal, professional, and societal challenges. To achieve this, we’re working together with an extensive network of clients, trainers, instructors, alumni, and coaches to build the university of the 21st century: the ideal model for education, learning, and development (read more here about “us” and “what is Bildung and our mission & vision”).

Your Role

You’ll work on programs such as StadsMakers, StadsMakers International, and Mindmasters040. In these programs, participants develop their leadership skills and resilience and work on concrete initiatives for their city or neighborhood. Examples include connecting local and international residents or organizing activities that encourage social interaction in the neighborhood.

We do this in collaboration with, among others, ASML—one of our key partners—the City of Eindhoven, and local educational and community partners. You’ll connect these parties and ensure that ideas develop into robust programs.

Specifically:

  • You will manage programs from preparation through evaluation and oversee scheduling, budgeting, quality, and administration.
  • You will coordinate trainers and coaches and liaise with clients and partners.
  • You build relationships with neighborhood organizations, educational institutions, businesses, and resident initiatives.
  • You advise partners on personal development, citizenship, and social engagement.
  • You identify opportunities for new partnerships and turn them into proposals and projects.

Who are we looking for?

You are a connector who contributes substantive ideas and organizes the implementation. You:

  • have experience in project management and consulting within the education or social sector;
  • have an affinity for Bildung, young people, and bringing together different worlds;
  • works independently, maintains an overview, and takes initiative;
  • communicates fluently in Dutch and English;
  • You should preferably live in the Eindhoven area and be there regularly.

Knowledge of and a network in the Brainport region are a plus. We also highly value connections with neighborhood organizations, resident initiatives, and local communities.

What do we offer?

  • Meaningful work that combines personal growth and social change.
  • A dedicated, curious team and plenty of room for your own ideas and professional development.
  • A position of 24–32 hours per week, to be determined by mutual agreement.
  • A salary of €4,000–€5,000 gross per month for a 40-hour workweek, depending on experience and expertise.
  • A combination of working on projects with programs and partners in Eindhoven, working from home, and team meetings at our office in Amsterdam.
  • Start date: late 2026 or early 2027, to be determined.
