Are you a creative and entrepreneurial marketer who wants to combine social impact with smart communication and growth strategies? Do you have a knack for content, social media, campaigns, and online marketing? And does building and promoting meaningful programs for youth and young adults energize you? If so, we’d love to meet you.

About De Bildung Academie

We work on a wide range of programs and projects for government ministries, municipalities, educational institutions, and civil society organizations. These include programs such as the Bildung Climate School, Mindmasters040, Ambassadors of Amsterdam, and various other learning and development programs for young people and young professionals.

In our ideal world, as many people as possible are in touch with themselves and connected to others. As a collective, they tackle personal, professional, and social challenges. To achieve this, we are working with our network to build the university of the 21st century: the ideal model of education, learning, and development.

To further raise the profile of our growing organization and programs, we are looking for a Junior Growth Marketer & Communications Specialist.

What are you going to do?

Together with our marketing partners, you will be responsible for increasing the visibility of De Bildung Academie and our programs. You will combine strategy, creativity, and execution to reach our target audience and increase our social impact.

Social Media, Content & Campaigns

  • Further develop and implement De Bildung Academie’s social media strategy.
  • Developing content calendars, creative content concepts, and social media posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
  • Attend programs and advisory processes to capture relevant content, stories, and visual material (video, photos).
  • Highlighting programs such as MBO Denktank, StadsMakers Eindhoven, Mindmasters040, and Ambassadors of Amsterdam through a single, recognizable brand narrative.
  • Managing social media channels, interacting with followers, and gathering content from colleagues, participants, and partners.
  • Provide support for online campaigns, participant recruitment, and optimizing results through Meta Ads, among other channels.

Website, SEO & CRM

  • Writing and optimizing landing pages and website content.
  • Improving SEO performance and monitoring results using Google Analytics.
  • Managing and updating HubSpot, including mailing lists and contact management.

Newsletters & Community

  • Developing, writing, and sending out monthly newsletters.
  • Contributing ideas for content and developing it in a way that appeals to participants, partners, and potential clients.

With all of the above in mind, you’ll be collaborating with our existing external marketing partners—such as designers, web developers, and campaign agencies—who already do a lot of work for us.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enterprising junior professional who enjoys taking on responsibility, learns quickly, and is motivated by the opportunity to make a social impact.

We're excited about someone who:

  • Has experience with social media, content creation (photography and videography), and online marketing.
  • Tools like Canva, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, and Webflow are useful.
  • Writes in a strong and concise style and knows how to turn stories into engaging content.
  • Works in a creative yet structured way.
  • Has a good understanding of our target audience: young people, students, and young professionals between the ages of 16 and 35.
  • Is interested in education, personal development, and social issues.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities and takes responsibility independently.
  • Enjoys working as part of a small, ambitious, and socially conscious team.

What we offer

  • Salary range: €2,400 – €3,200 gross per month based on full-time employment (40 hours per week), depending on experience (Freelance work is negotiable but not preferred).
  • The option to work remotely part of the time.
  • An inspiring office across from Amsterdam Central Station.
  • Working to make a social impact within an entrepreneurial and growing organization.
  • Collaboration with a dedicated team of program developers, trainers, and social innovators.
  • Opportunities for training and personal development as part of a long-term partnership.
  • Plenty of opportunities to try out new ideas and further develop yourself as a marketer and communications professional.
